This :30 second After Effects CS3 HD template has six placeholders for photos or videos. There are two versions included- one that requires Video Copilot’s third party plugin Optical Flares and one that has the flares pre-rendered in one quicktime movie file.

There is no support provided for this file unless there is something wrong with the file itself. Please feel free to experiment with the template- that’s what it’s there for!

Adding More Photos to a Template Tutorial

Hello there!
The #1 support question I get asked the most is “How can I add more photos to this template?” and the answer is always long and tedious to read.
So, here’s the answer to your burning question in video tutorial form. The main concepts explored in the tutorial are nested compositions, understanding the precomp hierarchy, and duplicating/replacing layers in the project. Once you grasp these ideas, you’ll be able to add more photos and scenes to most templates you may have purchased from FluxVFX!

First of all, thank you for reading this blog and for purchasing templates from FluxVFX. I know you have a ton of AE templates to choose from out there in internetland and your business is very much appreciated!

In the ongoing process of making your experience with FluxVFX better we are excited to announce the integration of Amazon S3 storage with the site which will make downloading the larger files much easier and faster. We’ve also added Google Checkout as a payment option, and hopefully in the near future we’ll be adding Amazon payments as well.

Hello!
We’ll be performing some site maintenance Friday April 1st 2011 9pm EST through Sunday April 3rd 2011 9pm EST.
The site will be intermittently available but checkout will be disabled.

Hey Everybody!
Spring has finally sprung in my neck of the woods and I couldn’t be happier! I’m sure you’re just as ready to bust out the shorts and flip flops and hang up that coat that’s starting to smell like biscuits (or is that just me?). To celebrate the start of a new season check out the newly hatched “Easter Cards” template!

When inspiration hits for a new template I usually do some quick sketches to the idea down on paper before I forget (which I do all the time). Hello!
Starting today FluxVFX templates are now even more affordable! Prices now range from $65-$25! Because of the lower prices, the ‘create-your-own’ bundle discount is now $30 instead of $50. The longer, more complex templates are in the $65-$50 range (Infographics, Pop Up Books), and the simpler projects are priced from as low as $25 (10 reflected slide show).

Hi there!
I’d like to introduce you to FluxVFX’s FREE template- “Pop Out Book”. This fun-loving template likes pina coladas and getting caught in the rain!

Well, not exactly, but the simplicity of this template is perfect for any type of client or project!

“Pop Out Book” has 11 placeholders for your photos or videos, and 13 areas for text. Most of the placeholders are 1280×720, except for the placeholder on the first page- that one is 1500×844. I hope you enjoy the template!
